"This is a memorial tattoo for my father, who I lost in 1993 to Parkinson's at the age of 77. My dad served as an officer in the United States Coast Guard during the Second World War. I was only 21 years old when my father passed and that's not enough time to really get to know your dad. My short time with him, however, was enough to know that he was a great man, great father, and an amazing grandfather. Not only will he always be in my heart, but thanks to Grove at Power House Tattoo, he'll always be right beside me on my arm."

Bringing his award-winning candor, wit, and intelligence, Between Them by Richard Ford is a stirring new memoir of memory and parental love. This slim narrative is so gently spellbinding, you'll want to read it twice.
