Every day, we watch community members come and go. Walking or biking by. Browsing the bookshelves. Meeting over coffee with old friends or new business partners. Working hard on a project in the studio or a study room. Relaxing in a comfy chair. Once in a while we catch a glimpse into an individual's inner world from a tattoo on a shoulder, ankle, or arm and we wonder how and why and what and who.
In this blog, we have collected some of the stories behind images you carry on your body. After all, what is a library if not a place of story sharing?
Read the stories here, and visit the Central Theatre Lobby until May 29th 2019 to view the Our Ink, Our Stories exhibit. We are featuring some of our favourite photographs from the project, and celebrating its success. Thanks to all of you who shared your ink, your stories and your selves with us.
